CHEA Supporter – Eligibility and Benefits

Organizations eligible for this category include the following:  

  • Accrediting organizations formerly but not currently recognized by CHEA
  • Accrediting organizations recognized only by the US Department of Education (USDE)
  • Members of the Washington Higher Education Secretariat
  • Degree-granting institutions accredited by a USDE-recognized accrediting organization but not eligible for CHEA membership
  • Established organizations that support academic accreditation processes and the work of CHEA

The category “Supporter” enables institutions and organizations to support CHEA’s mission and take advantage of offerings currently available to CHEA institutional members. Benefits of being a CHEA Supporter include:

  • No-cost subscriptions to CHEA publications including the Federal Update, Accreditation in the News, International QA in the News, and Accreditation Central
  • Publication of feature articles from supporting member organizations’ leadership
  • Reduced fees to the CHEA/CIQG Annual Conference
  • No-cost registration to the CHEA Summer Roundtable
  • Access to members-only webinars on a variety of accreditation-related issues

Annual Fee for the Supporter category is $2,000.00.
