CHEA Remembers Dr. Orlando Taylor

Dr. Orlando TaylorWith deep sadness, I share with you the unfortunate news of the passing of Dr. Orlando L. Taylor, Ph.D. Dr. Taylor was an esteemed former Chair and member of the CHEA Board of Directors (2015-2022).

Dr. Taylor also left an indelible mark on higher education, making significant contributions to Fielding Graduate University, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and Tribal Colleges. Dr. Taylor most recently served as a Distinguished Senior Advisor to the President of Fielding Graduate University, a CHEA member institution. His dedication to advancing educational opportunities for students, particularly within the HBCU and Tribal College communities, has left an enduring imprint.

As we reflect on his contributions, let us honor his memory and continue the work of fostering inclusive and accessible education for all.
