Former Florida Presidents to Legislators: ‘Enough Is Enough’ (Inside Higher Ed, October 19, 2023) Seven former presidents of public institutions in Florida wrote an op-ed published in The Tampa Bay Times criticizing the legislative steps taken to reshape higher education by dictating what faculty can teach, curtailing the power of accrediting bodies, and banning diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
